Personnel Announcement - Jim Voeffray joins Wildcat Discovery Technologies as SVP of Business Development

Wildcat Discovery Technologies, a technology company that uses proprietary high throughput methods to rapidly develop new battery materials, announced this month that Jim Voeffray has joined Wildcat as their new Senior Vice President of Business Development.
Jim Voeffray is a global business and strategy executive with over 30 years of global experience in strategic planning, sales management, and marketing, particularly in the automotive industry, with the last 10 years focused on electric vehicles.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Business Development at Orange EV, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that designs and delivers pure electric, commercial trucks. Previously, Voeffray served in executive roles involving business development and engineering operations at American Axle & Manufacturing, GKN, Magna International, and Ford Motor Company. Voeffray holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan.
Voeffray joins Wildcat at an exciting time; along with Wildcat’s existing success with their unique high throughput (HTP) technology that discovers and optimizes new battery materials, the team recently earned Series-D funding, to develop next-generation materials that could unlock an EV Supercell.
With demand for new battery technologies at a peak and the market opportunities for such clean energy technologies almost limitless, Wildcat is well positioned to lead the charge for technological breakthroughs in a vast commercial market.
